Recall! Frozen Berries for Possible Hepatitis Contamination
RECALL! Check your freezer!
The Kroger Company is recalling Private Selection Frozen Berry’s. Due to the fact, that FDA tested a sample of Private Selection frozen berries and discovered the presence of Hepatitis A.
The products included in this recall are as follows:
- Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, 48 oz with “BEST BY” 07-07-20 and UPC – 0001111079120) and 16 oz with “BEST BY” of 06-19-20 and UPC -0001111087808)
- Private Selection Frozen Blackberries, 16 oz with “BEST BY” 06-19-20, 07-02-20 and UPC -0001111087809
To date, there have been no reported customer illnesses. Do not consume these products. If you have any of these products, return them to the place of purchase for refund or replacement.
Hepatitis A is a contagious liver disease that can cause fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, abnormal liver tests, dark urine, and pale stool.
