Wine bottle Wear Gift Packaging – Review
The nice folks at Wine Wear sent me a Wine bottle Wear to review, and to tell you about.
I love wine! And, I love giving and receiving wine as a gift. I live in Southern California in what used to be citrus fields and vineyards. I love the local faire as much as anything. I’ve had the pleasure of doing freelance design for some very well-known vineyards, and have actually been paid bonuses by way of bottles of wine. Once, for a very renowned show, I created name badges and made myself an extra that said “Wino.” (lol!) So, this review is near and dear to my heart. And, in case you’re wondering, my favorite type is Bordeaux, with Riesling being a close runner-up. And, since you asked, yes – my birthday is coming up.
Now, what was I talking about? OH yeah! Wine bottle Wear. This cute & clever package makes giving wine extra special. It provides packaging for a wine bottle and delivers a sentiment at the same time. Each Wine bottle Wear has an area on the back where you can add your own personal message.
No more gift bags that get crumpled or wet, and more affordable than cloth bags. And, of course, they’re way more fun! After all, what is a good wine without good times?
Basically, Wine bottle Wear is a little cardstock t-shirt that fits onto the neck of a wine bottle (also known as a “necker”). They have lots of designs to choose from – from sassy to classy. The one they sent me looks like a blue t-shirt with a name badge that says “Wino.” How did they know?!
A few other designs feature what looks like a BBQ chef’s apron and says: “Grill Supervisor;” a purple tee in vineyard design that says “Thanks a Bunch;” and a pink floral version with the popular adage: “Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often.” I love that all proceeds from the Live, Love, Laugh design are donated to cancer charities!!
You can purchase these Wine bottle Wear designs – plus lots more – at Wine Wear’s website for only $3.49. They also have Wine glass Wear and Wine fashion Wear. And, if you prefer to check them out in person, you can find Wine Wear sold at Walgreens!
