Eddy Packing Co. Inc., that is located in Yoakum, TX, is recalling approximately 49,558 pounds of Eddy or Dickeys smoked sausage products that may be possibly contaminated with foreign matter. A restaurant worker found pieces of white, hard plastic embedded in the sausage during slicing.

The recalled products all bear the establishment number “EST. 4800” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The sausage products were shipped to food service and retail locations in California, Georgia, Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
There aren’t any reports of illness or injury concerning this recall.
If you have purchased these products do not consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
