THE BROOKIE COOKIE – Review
You may recall me posting deals for THE BROOKIE COOKIE before – they have great offers all the time!!
I like cookies, but I wouldn’t say I’m overly crazy about them. I’ve posted about THE BROOKIE COOKIE a few times, and honestly they didn’t really interest me. So, when they offered to send me some to try, I thought “sure, why not?” Boy, was I wrong! My first taste was of THE BROOKIE COOKIE double chocolate cookie (without nuts), and as it melted in my mouth I wondered how I ever thought I wouldn’t love these! They’re not overly sweet, but have a rich fudgey chocolate taste that is crazy good.
I wanted to see if I’d get the same results with my stepson and his girlfriend, so I brought in the rest of the cookies and asked if they’d like to help me sample them and give their opinion. Liz wrinkled her nose when she saw them. Ah-hah! Same reaction I had. Then she tasted the THE BROOKIE COOKIE sandwich (cream). She could NOT believe how yummy they are either! She said that they don’t look like they would taste that good, but they’re amazing!! She noted that the consistency is almost like a brownie, but the outside is slightly ‘crisp’ like you’d expect from a cookie. Not hard by any means, but not like cake either. She smiled and said, “you didn’t want these back did you?” as she continued to munch on them. Then she noted that she doesn’t even usually like creme filling!
My stepson, who I can only assume was a victim of being dropped as a baby, kept yelling things like “they’re magically delicious!” All catch phrases aside, he agreed that they were wonderful!
Overall, my favorite THE BROOKIE COOKIE was BROOKIE double chocolate without nuts. The BROOKIE creme pie was a big hit, even with those who don’t like creme filling. And THE BROOKIE COOKIE Crunch (with pretzel) was a really unique combination of sweet & salty. The pretzel wasn’t crunchy, but it was still really, really good. And the original, the BROOKIE double chocolate cookie (with nuts) was so good, even my 4 year old loved it. Normally she’d want to pick the nuts off, but she ate it and then asked for more after saying “yuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm.”
They also have options to have them gift wrapped in a cello sleeve with ribbon, or for yourself in a cello sleeve without ribbon, or you can have them
individually wrapped for an event. So, they’ve invented the best cookie ever, and they’ve thought of everything!
