Yesterday I was happily surprised to see a SodaStreamUSA free sample display at my local Costco.  I stopped in to get a sample, and hoped to learn something to share with you in this review. The nice lady working wasn’t familiar with the SodaStreamUSA unit, so I ended up showing her how it worked. It was sort of a practice run to writing this review.  But was great to interact with fellow customers to see what they thought about SodaStreamUSA.  Everyone agreed that the cola we sampled tasted as good or better than name brand. It was very fresh, bubbly and yummy.

SodaStreamUSA has been around for a while – since 1903!  My family had one when I was a kid, which is part of the reason I jumped at the chance to help promote this awesome company.  I already knew the quality and integrity of the brand, but truthfully I’d forgotten just how incredibly yummy fresh soda really tastes.

But then, who doesn’t love a cold, refreshing carbonated beverage?!  With more than 30 Sodamix flavors – regular, diet and caffeine-free options, such as cola, lemon-lime, and root beer…exotic fruit flavors like orange mango and diet pink grapefruit…energy drink (compare to Red Bull for a fraction of the price), sparkling iced teas, cocktail mixers and more! Yum!! If soda’s not your thing, no worries! You can carbonate water for a spritzy, mineral water taste that can’t be beat. Or, add a few drops of MyWater flavors for a light refreshing taste.

Different and Better

In my opinion, nothing tastes quite as good as fresh.  Not only can you choose from tons of flavors, you can choose how much to put in each bottle! If you like a little less or more – it’s up to you.  Same goes for the amount of carbonation. You’re in control!

In addition, SodaStreamUSA does not use High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) to sweeten their syrups.  One of the cola flavors uses real cane sugar. They also do not use Aspartame, a controversial sweetener that some believe can lead to health problems.

And don’t even get me started about all the plastic bottles and aluminum that aren’t needed!

If your family goes through soda like mine does, you’ll appreciate the savings you’ll find with SodaStreamUSA.  Each bottle of Sodamix makes approximately 12 liters of soda (about 33 cans!) for around 25 cents per 12-ounce can.  Bed, Bath & Beyond has Sodamix syrup, and you can use their coupons!! I used a 20% off coupon, so it was only $0.33 per liter (imagine finding soda for $0.66 a 2-liter bottle – I’d buy it! And, I did!)

Bed, Bath & Beyond also does the CO2 cylinder exchange right at their customer service window.
