Simply Organic – Review & Giveaway
The folks at Simply Organic sent me their Moisture Rich Shampoo and Conditioner to review, and to tell you about.
Simply Organic is formulated to gently clean and moisturize dry or damaged hair. It renews and re-hydrates with olive leaf extract, organic honey and nature’s essential oils.
I’ve been using Simply Organic for about two weeks now, and it’s not like any shampoo and conditioner I’ve used. I’m not just saying that either. If I had written this within the first few days of using it, the review would not have been good! They claim it provides intensive moisturizing which made me think it would be heavy and weigh my hair down. That’s not the case at all!! Actually, if it didn’t say it was moisturizing, I wouldn’t have thought that it was. It has a very distinct scent, like something you’d smell at a professional salon. It feels like my hair is so clean, like no “clarifying” regimen I’ve tried. As a matter of fact, my hair is so clean and not weighed down it’s completely different to work with. At first I hated it! They claim increased manageability, and I believe the end result is indeed that, but it takes some getting used to. It makes my hair feel almost wildly clean. “Squeaky clean” is a term that comes to mind.
But the more I used it, the more volume I saw. I have SUPER fine hair (read: flat and straight!) I usually over condition it because otherwise it feels so dry and straw-like. But then it’s so weighed down that it just lays there, flat. With Simply Organic it’s not dry and flat at all, but I feel like I need a hair cut. My hair feels healthier but I can tell it would be much better with a trim!
I also received a tube of Simply Organic lip balm which you can get free with any online purchase this month! It’s really nice – you will love it!
In all, I really like Simply Organic. It’s not cheap ($28 and $30 a bottle for Shampoo and Conditioner), but it’s really high quality. It’s organic and all natural. And it works wonders on your hair. If you’ve been using regular shampoos and conditioners, you’ll be amazed a the difference in just a few uses.
