Scentsy Wickless Candles – Review
Christine, a Scensty Independent Consultant, asked me to review Scentsy products and host a giveaway for Gimmie fans. I’d heard of Scentsy but never tried any of it. I know you’re probably thinking I must be living under a rock (hey, freebie hunting takes a lot of time, okay?). I’m a big fan of candles, so it seemed like a great way to try something a little bit different. Scentsy warmers are heated by a 25-watt light bulb, so there’s no danger of smoke, soot or fire that you’d have with a traditional candle or burner. Plus, the low-watt bulb melts the specially formulated Scentsy bar’s wax slowly to so that it smells better, longer!
I ordered a really cute warmer (the Charlemagne) from an extensive collection available at Christine’s online Scentsy catalog. It wasn’t an easy decision either – they’re all so nice! I was really impressed with how many different styles, shapes and colors they have. So I finally decided and was excited to order, when I realized I still needed to select scents!! I chose crisp, clean scents (Mediterranean Spa and Clean Breeze) because that’s what I usually prefer, and again their selection was extensive.
My warmer and Scentsy bars arrived packed very well – even had a freezer pack to make sure the bars didn’t melt. Everything was in tact and the warmer was even prettier in person. It’s a great size too. You could say it really ties the room together. 
I installed the light bulb (how many bloggers does it take… ? ha, ha) and plugged it in. It was a very quick and easy setup. I decided to use the Scentsy bar Christine chose for me, called “Cozy Fireside.” I put two sections of the Scentsy bar on the warmer and within a few minutes the whole house was permeated by an ridiculously pleasant cinnamon scent. Not overbearing, but definitely noticeable. My house isn’t huge, but it’s not tiny either. I’m upstairs and the Scentsy is downstairs – about as far apart as I could be from it – and I can still smell it where I am. It smells absolutely delicious!!! And, now I want apple cider!!
My husband ventured in, seemingly following his nose in attempt to find the new addition that was making the house smell great. I told him about the Scentsy warmer and he said something to the effect, “why didn’t we have this before!?” The irony here is that I set the new Scentsy warmer where my little simmering liquid pot potpourri warmer had sat for the past 5 years. I didn’t realize before, but we never even noticed our old warmer unless we were in the corner where it was sitting. It just didn’t permeate the way this Scentsy warmer does. And it didn’t smell nearly as good.
In summary, I’m really impressed with my new Scentsy warmer and Scentsy bars. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great way to fill your home with pleasant scents this holiday season, or any day. This would be a perfect gift, and I hope you’ll consider Christine, Independent Scentsy Consultant when purchasing any Scentsy products.
