Do Not Feed these to your dog! Please be advised that there is a number of dog food and dog treats being recalled due to Salmonella concerns. Pets do not always display symptoms when infected with Salmonella, but some of the signs can include vomiting, diarrhea, fever, loss of appetite and/or decreased activity level. Pets can pass Salmonella to humans without showing any signs of the illness themselves. In humans, young children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems are at risk of serious infection.
Darwin’s Natural and ZooLogics pet foods, made by Arrow Reliance Inc. recalled ZooLogics Duck and Vegetable Meals for dogs and ZooLogics Chicken and Vegetables Meals for dogs. There have been six complaints of illness and a death in animals that have eaten these products. The following items are being recalled: ZooLogics Chicken and Vegetable Meals for Dogs Manufactured 11/2/17 and ZooLogics Duck and Vegetable Meals for Dogs
Raws for Paws is recalling certain ground turkey food for dogs may be contaminated with Salmonella. The product sold online went to customers in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. Recalled product information: 1-pound and 5-pound sealed plastic tubes called chubs
Redbarn Pet Products is voluntarily recalling its 7-inch Bully Stick three pack because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The products were sold at specialty retail stores. Recalled product: a 2.4 ounce, green plastic bag marked with an expiration date of 112120ABC stamped on the side. The product UPC is #7 85184 25105 8.
Smokehouse Pet Products, Inc. is recalling four-ounce bags of dog treats labeled as “Beefy Munchies,” because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The products were sold in Washington, Michigan, North Carolina and Colorado through distributors selling to various retailers. No illness has been reported for this product. Recall product: comes in 4 oz pkg, with UPC Code: 78565857957, Best Used By Date: 10/25/19 (stamped in back).
