This Grinch of an announcement comes from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after nearly two dozen types of candy has been recalled because the milk used in making chocolate is potentially contaminated with Salmonella.
Affected candy includes almond bark, pretzels, peanut brittle, peppermint bark, chocolatey caramel crunch, as well as several candy bowls (a mixed assortment of candy in one container)!
Consumers should throw out or return these products to the point of sale for a full refund.
