MindsPay Review: Scam or Legit?
Is MindsPay a Scam? Or, is MindsPay Legit?
Find out in our MindsPay Review!!
MindsPay is a well-known name in the big pool of online job survey sites that claim you’ll make money. They say, “Get Paid to Review Products”. Because we’re the home of Gimmie’s Big List of Fake Freebies to Avoid, and we test every offer before sharing with you to keep you safe, I wanted to review this site to see if you can actually be paid to test products.
To sign up for MindsPay:
- Head on over to MindsPay

- Make sure to confirm in the email you’ll receive, or you can’t earn money!
The claim: MindsPay claims that if you “provide your opinion though online paid surveys” you will earn income. They further say you can, “Make Money Testing Products.“
What does that mean? Well, “online paid surveys” would lead us to believe that MindsPay is a market research company. Market research companies recruit people to form consumer panels. Then, companies pay the market research company to have their consumer panels tell them what they think of products and product ideas. Often, panelists are paid for their time in cash or gift cards. But, in fact MindsPay is not a market research company. But hold on, that doesn’t make MindsPay a scam (maybe slightly misleading).
On their front page they claim you’ll “Make Money Testing Products” which makes it seem like Hasbro is going to send you a box of free toys (just an example), and pay you to tell them if your kids love them. But, that’s not what MindsPay is about. What is MindsPay about, you ask? You will get paid to “complete offers”. That is essentially trying products, but less like a box of toys — and more like a free trial of Netflix (or similar). How it works is that they make money when you complete offers, and they give you portion of the money they make. Not a scam, but not quite what they make it out to be. Still, not a bad way to make a few bucks.
What’s the catch? In theory at least, most people will not stick with it. That doesn’t make them a scam, because if you do stick with it they will pay you. But, if you don’t stick with it, they make the money for the few offers you did complete and you go away without cashing out. That also doesn’t make them a scam. But, it means it’s not right for everyone.
Their threshold (the minimum you can cash out at) is $50. And, you can cash out in increments of $50. So, if you have $52, you can only cash out $50; so, you’ll need to wait to get the rest until you earn up to $50 again.
Is MindsPay a scam? No it is not a scam. MindsPay does pay out, and their members do make money from Minds Pay. But, understanding how it works will help you decide if it’s right for you.
Is MindsPay right for me? Only you can decide that! If you have extra time and you’re looking for ways to make money, it might be a really good fit for you.
