Oh my gosh! I woke up to this news: Zaycon Fresh has closed! Their Facebook page is gone!
This is a developing story. Read the lawsuit here.
Known for it’s boneless, skinless chicken breast at super low prices – has closed its virtual doors!
In this article, I’ll cover why Zaycon closed, and what to do to get a refund from Zaycon if you have a pending order. Because they have suspended business, if you placed an order you have not yet picked up – it appears you will NOT get your order. Rather than waiting for the legal system to get your money back, we show you how to get a refund within days.
Zaycon Foods started in 2009 in Washington state. Within a few years, the concept had caught on and they were spreading to other areas of the country. Brothers Mike and JC Conrad contacted me to share about their business, and we had the honor of doing several Zaycon Fresh Reviews and giveaways, starting back in 2011.
Their direct-from-the-farm meat was so fresh – it was guaranteed! Unlike going to the grocery store and buying meat that had been sitting for weeks, Zaycon meat was only a few days since being processed. You did have to coordinate to meet their refrigerated truck at some random parking lot in your area. It was definitely different!
Zaycon Fresh offers fresh from the farm boneless skinless chicken breast at a fraction of the price you pay at supermarkets and bulk warehouse clubs.
On the day of your local Zaycon sales event, you bring your order confirmation to a designated location a short drive from your home, and you get your fresh, delicious, nutritious food!
Why did Zaycon Foods Close?
Unfortunately at this time, we don’t know the answer to that. Their website says:
It is with deep regret that we inform you that as of June 25th, we are suspending business operations.
Zaycon Fresh has put forth monumental efforts to endure recent challenges but conditions are such that this suspension is necessary.
Updates will be forthcoming as we are able to provide them.
How to get a Zaycon Refund?
If you ordered and haven’t picked up, here’s how to get a refund.
I recommend NOT waiting for refunds from them. If they are bankrupt, that could mean years being tied up in court, and it could take you a long time to get your money back!
- If you paid Zaycon with a credit card, call the number on the back of your card and tell them Zaycon is out of business. They will open a dispute, and you will get your money back within days.
- If you paid via Bank charge or debit card, call your bank and tell them Zaycon has gone out of business. They will issue a refund, and you will get your money back within days.
- According to their homepage, you can also email Zaycon with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
[Zaycon] accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards as well as debit cards bearing the MasterCard or Visa logos. We do not accept PayPal, EBT or any other forms of payment.
Update: 6/27/18: I received a cancellation email about the event I was supposed to receive my order at, scheduled for September
