132,000 Pounds of Ground Beef Recalled

The ground beef involved in this recall is due to possible contamination with E-Coli. The retailers that sold this product are Sam’s Club, Target, Meijer, Aldi’s, and Safeway and other grocery retailers.
There have been 17 reports of illness and one death. The investigation into the E.Coli outbreak, finally determined that the ground beef was produced and packaged by Cargill Meat Solutions.
E. coli is a potentially deadly bacterium
Some of the symptoms are vomiting, bloody diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, and dehydration. The symptoms normally start within one to 10 days after exposure. Those with a weakened immune system may develop a more severe infection.
